Trip insurance can help protect you in the event of cancellation for a covered reason, for medical and evacuation costs when traveling, and more.   We always recommend it.   If you would like a quote, just let us know.   Understanding and knowing cancellation policies is the responsibility of travelers.   Hotels generally have cancellation deadlines, but some bookings may be non-changeable and non-refundable.   Almost all flights are non-refundable, but changes or credits may be possible based on airline rules.  Change fees, cancellation  fees or fare differences are likely for any changes.   Basic economy airfares are often non-changeable in addition to non-refundable, so are generally not recommended.

It is the traveler's responsibility to know your travel requirements like passports, visas and identifications, and to make sure you have all valid documents.  You can find more information by searching government  websites for each country, using the IATA Travel Centre link below and by logging in to your airline or cruise reservation on their websites using your confirmation number.

If you experience a travel emergency during travel or when our office is closed, please contact your airline, hotel, cruise line, tour company or vacation package provider directly. If they request you call your travel agent, please inform them that you have an after hours or during travel emergency.  

If you have trip insurance and think you may need to file a claim, please contact the insurance company right away.  

Please pay close attention to emails received from us or your ariline regarding your air travel.

It is highly recommended that you check-in online for your flights.   Most online check-ins are available starting 24 hours prior to departure.

In many instances you can change or upgrade seats, add passport or other contact information, determine baggage fees (if any), and add frequent flyer or known traveler information by logging into your air reservation directly on the airline's website using your confirmation number.

Codeshare flights are flights booked through a specific airline with a corresponding flight number, but that are actually operated by a different partner airline.   Please pay close attention to these so you know which airline your flight is actually operated by and who to check-in with.  Many airlines also use regional carriers for certain shorter routes.   In these cases, check-in is most often with the airline you booked with.

Flight schedule changes can occur and are even more frequent these days.   We recommend you log in to your flight  reservation on the airline website a few days prior to your departure to verify there  are no last minute changes.
